***Review of Playing for Keeps (A Neighbor from Hell Book 1) by R.L. Mathewson***

Done with being the world’s biggest pushover, Haley decides that things are going to change starting with the aggravating neighbor who has too much charm and not enough restraint. What she didn’t expect was to be sucked into his world, but Haley has a game plan and she won’t let herself forget just what the bad boy next door is capable of.

The last thing Jason expected was for his little shy neighbor to go Rambo on him over some ruined flowers. After he decides to take her under his wing he can’t help but notice that she fits very nicely in his life. Now the only thing left is to convince her that this is anything but a game.

5 Stars - Pink

There are so many wonderful things to say about this book. Hot guy, sweet girl next door, funny, food, and sexy. But none of them is enough, I absolutely love R.L. period end of story she has a way of just sucking you into the story until you cannot put it down until the very last word.

Jason is a hot guy who knows he is hot and has never committed to a woman nor led them to believe he would. Hayley is the sweet girl next door who has learned to keep her head down and avoid all drama, especially hot men.

Jason and Hayley have been neighbors for many years and he has been the absolute worse. Hayley has kept her mouth shut until finally in her eyes he has finally crossed the line. Their first interaction will have you giggling yourself silly. From that moment on Hayley realizes that yes Jason is hot but he is also super funny and a great person to have a friend.

Now what you have to know about Jason Bradford along with all the other Bradford’s are that they have one hell of an appetite and can eat anyone under the table. The eating habitats alone will keep you laughing.

Hayley and Jason are very much attracted to each other but leave it alone because they also love the friendship that they have. However things get a little steamy between them one night and Jason convinces Hayley to give him a chance because he really does want just her. I found myself rooting for them the whole way through the book. I do have to tell you Jason will disappoint you at the same time as he breaks Hayley’s heart. Keep reading and you will see that sometimes standing your ground and fighting for what you want is the best course of action.

If you are looking for a funny, sweet, girl next door read you cannot pass this book up. Highly recommended!!!
