Nicole’s Review ~

I was given an ARC of this book in return for my honest review. For her debut novel Amanda did a really great job at pulling me as a reader in. I finished this book in one sitting, which I love when that happens.

We start out with Colt who has recent and when I say recent I mean just the night before has suffered a loss that I cannot even imagine. He is out drowning his sorrows in a bottle and spots a woman that he thinks will help him accomplish this goal. Little does he know this little encounter will change the course of his life.

Harper herself has also suffered a tragic loss many years before but she has yet to come to terms with it, you will find your heart going out to these two characters. Not only is Harper having to deal with this lose but she also just found out that her boyfriend of 4 years has been cheating. Harper’s roommate has convinced her to go out for Halloween and have a little fun. While out at this party she ask for a sign that her life will get better and find happiness.

Harper and Colt meet and there is an instant attraction and that feeling that their souls have been touched. However there is now a huge problem Colt needs to overcome in order to have Harper. Colt’s problems will cause distrust and lots of “Faith and Trust” in order for this couple to get their Happily Ever After.

I truly loved the “werewolf” take that Amanda took when writing this book. It’s unique and makes you really want to see what is going to happen. Harper I absolutely loved she was witty, loving and smart, it was refreshing to have a female lead who had been cheated on not be moppy and afraid. Colt and Harper do have issues and they come in many different forms.

If you are looking for a sweet paranormal read that will have you turning the page, this is the book for you. I would definitely recommend this book.
