Nicole’s Review ~

First up this was suppose to be a trilogy it even says so in the title and apparently there are going to be more books. Normally this would not bother me if a series was going to continue but I was under the assumption that this book would wrap everything up. With that said nothing was really wrapped up, to be 100% with you it actually has your scratching your head wondering is this really how it ends and is she really giveaway jump to Ella. If that’s the case I am very sure I will not be continuing this series at all. To me HEA does not mean that a story is complete when there are still many and I mean many more plots left open, especially with the two main charters involved. My little rant is over so onto the review itself.

We pick up exactly where Being Me left off which I loved, Sara is a hot mess with what she should do. Thankfully she comes to her decision quickly, unfortunately there are tons of things and people that try everything and anything to keep Chris and Sara separate. We get to meet some very odd characters in this book many of which have some very personal ties to Chris. I found Sara lost her spark in this book and I was wondering what happened to this very independent woman. I am all for Chris protecting her but it was almost as if Sara no longer had a brain.

Just like the other two books Chris was a huge mystery and every time you think the big reveal was coming or had happen you were told otherwise. The big secret of Chris is devastating but I would in no way shape or form call it a deal breaker in any relationship so it was kind of anticlimactic to say the least. Actually this whole book was that way for me, it as just blah, lacking the umph the first two books had. I do not like being negative so this review is difficult for me because this book had massive potential and I was very disappointed considering the wait time between the books.

If you started this series it’s very hard for me to say whether or not you should finish because to be honest nothing aside from Chris’ secrets are revealed. Many of the mysteries from book one and two are still unsolved.
