**REVIEW** Waking Dreams (The Soul’s Mark 1.5) by Ashley Stoyanoff

In The Soul’s Mark, Eric Carter felt a burning spark when he first laid eyes on Amelia Caldwell. There was just something about her—something familiar—that pulled him to her. The problem was acting on the spark was suicide. Amelia was marked for his father.

Eric had been around for a long time, and before Amelia, life happened. One day he was a simple rancher and then the next, he was thrust into a world that he had never known existed, and dreaming of a girl that he knew he couldn’t live without.

In this novella, Eric Carter’s history is revealed.

Amy’s Review:

I was giddy when I opened this book and realized it was about Eric. I LOVE him and this book had me loving him more. I was confused at the beginning over something but it was explained quickly so it didn’t last long.

My poor poor Eric. I felt so bad for him. So sad for him. My heart broke during this book. I felt his pain and suffered with him through the agonizing fight he went through every day. But during this book he grew. He turned into the man he was in book one. *Sigh* He is such a sweet and fun man.

Megan was a sweet girl. A brave girl and I started to love her. Did I want Eric to find his soul mate? Well lets say half of me did and half of me wanted to just keep him to myself. 🙂 This book has a twist at the end that gives you a little glimpse into why certain things happened in book one. It answered some questions I had when the first one ended.

If you’ve read the first one you know you can’t stop now. You have to read the rest of the series. Time to start the next one. This is a must read series.
