**REVIEW** The Soul’s Mark: Hunted by Ashley Stoyanoff

When Amelia Caldwell learned that she was marked by a vampire’s soul, she did what any smart, self-preserving person would have done: tried to run. But thanks to the soulmate bond that tethered her mentally and emotionally to her vampire soulmate, Mitchell Lang, running was not an option and finding out she was a witch didn’t make her life any easier.

Now, Amelia has made peace with her new supernatural life and accepted her destiny with Mitchell, one of the most powerful vampires in the world. They are finally getting along but Amelia is sure he is hiding something—something big.

Little does she know that this is just the calm before the storm. When Mitchell’s former flame resurfaces and Eric’s dreams become distorted visions of his soulmate, hostility and tension threatens to tear their world apart.

Just when Amelia thinks life couldn’t get any crazier, vampires and humans start turning up dead. The killer—something more sinister and haunting than your run of the mill psychopath —is heading straight for their front door.

Amy’s Review:

I know I said the last book was my favorite but this has topped both book 1 and 1.5. I loved how I could see how different characters were thinking and how things affected them. A story told through one character is great but a story told through more than one is even better. You don’t have to wonder what so and so thought during certain parts.

Amelia and Mitch find themselves in another predicament in this one. Of course nothing can be easy with these two, but at least they are starting to get to a point where they are working together. The way Mitch has been has been driving me nuts but I have high hopes that he will redeem himself. I love how Amelia thinks about everyone else before herself. She is worried about her family and not what could happen to her. I also have to say that I am happy that they finally, finally had their adult moment. Lol.

I am so excited for Eric. I was thinking after the Novella that he it wouldn’t happen, and to find out what “it” is, you would have to read the books. 🙂 I wanted to jump up and down for him. He can be dumb at times and he proves it but at least he admits his faults.

Mabel, my poor sweet innocent Mabel. 😦 Why her???

This book is freaking awesome. I can not get enough of this series. I can’t wait to see what happens next with everyone. The ending of this one will make you immediately pick up book 3. A small little cliffhanger and thankfully I don’t have to wait for it to come out, because I would go nuts.

If you haven’t read this series, I suggest you pick it up and start on it.
