Review: Learning to Let Go by Cynthia P. O’Neill
Garrett Andrews has controlled every aspect of his life for as long as he can remember. Whatever he wanted, he took, especially when it came to Laurel Hart. She was the first person to make his heart skip a beat and capture his soul, allowing part of his control to slip, which uncovered his lie and destroyed her trust in him.
Laurel now lays battered and broken thanks to Chase Peterson, a stalker from her college days, who won’t accept no for an answer. Garrett is determined to win her back, obsessing over her care in an attempt to heal both her body and her mind. He will go to any lengths to earn back her trust and teach her to let go of the past, but can he follow his own advice and let down his own walls?
They struggle to overcome their issues and soon Chase is after her again, fixated on staking his “claim” with a startling revelation that links both the past and present. Can they find happiness with each other or is their too much to overcome? Only time will tell if they can learn to let go.

WOW!! What can even be said about this book. This is book 2 and an awesome follow up to Learning to Trust. I loved the first one but I love this one even more. I fell in love with Garrett from the get go. His dominate side and his sweet side. He has them both. He found a way to surprise me all the time.
Laurel is so strong. She goes through a hard thing and still managed to come out stronger. Not only in her life but in her relationship with Garrett. This book will answer questions that you had after reading the first book but still has you wanting to know more.
The things I would love to say about this book simply can’t be said. If I talk about what I want to then I will have massive spoilers through this whole thing. Which really sucks.
Lets just say there are ups and downs. Sad times and extremely happy times. Ohh and lets not forget the really hot, steamy, sexy times. This book was amazing and I can not wait for book 3. I need to know what happens next and if there is a happily ever after for this couple like I hope there is.
