Title: Legacy of Lies
Series: Hell’s Valley #1
Publisher: Crimson Romance
Garrison Taggart doesn’t have time to deal with touchy-feely junk like “trust issues” or “feelings.” His dad’s health is waning and the family’s Wyoming ranch is being sabotaged. Too bad his supernatural ability to tell when someone is lying has been exactly zero help in ferreting out the betrayer so far. So, when sweet schoolteacher Sara Lopez raises concerns about his son being bullied, who can blame a guy for getting a little testy?
The last thing Sara needs is any more attention or gossip after her recent breakup with big-shot rancher Hank Brand. So her attraction to surly but sexy Garrison, Hank’s rival, is entirely unwanted. When she uncovers an insane plot to kidnap the Taggart boy and throws herself in harm’s way to protect him, Garrison must risk his deepest secret and his own life to save the people he cares for the most. But will his heroics cost him everything?
But she couldn’t ignore the new hand that caught the door right before it closed. Big, square fingers with trimmed, work-roughened nails blanched as they gripped the metal. A flannel sleeve encased a thick wrist dusted with reddish hair. Sinews flexed as he pushed open the door.
Hail Mary … yum.
He crossed the worn linoleum floor in three strides, bringing with him scents of horses, hay, leather, and hardworking male. She inhaled, triggering fond memories of watching rodeo competitions featuring a certain steer roper.
Too bad her pleasant thoughts didn’t jibe with the scowling man standing next to the chair.
Keep it professional. Stay cool. You can do this.
Sara wiped damp palms on her black slacks and stuck out her hand. “Mr. Taggart, I’m glad you were able to take time to meet about Zach.”
His strong hand wrapped around hers.
Rough skin against soft. His ruddy, weathered skin against her light olive tone. Opposites all around, but damned if their hands didn’t look perfect together.
Garrison Taggart was anything but old. He must be, what, a few years past thirty now? Other than some weatherworn fine lines around his eyes, nothing else about his fit physique indicated he was anything but in the prime of his life.
When a twinkle lit the gold flecks in his eyes, her neck warmed up. Her thick hair, worn down today, had been a bad idea, if the heat building up at the nape of her neck was any indication.
He relaxed into the seat across the desk from her. The chair next to him remained conspicuously empty. When he rested a dusty-booted ankle on his knee and balanced his Stetson on his solid thigh, she sighed and made a superhuman effort not to stare at the taut denim covering his …
Wow, she needed to stick with the parent-teacher routine and ignore how the guy made her ovaries tremble with excitement.
I had always been a good girl ruled by my catholic guilt, until one little slip-up in college led me down a different path. Now, I’m just trying to be the best mom I can to my little girl, making ends meet – cleaning houses by day, hosting sex toy parties at night, and holding out hope that Prince Charming truly does exist.
Then I met him – handsome, successful, and hardworking. The perfect Prince Charming. Right? Wrong. So wrong.
He’s a perfectionist.
I’m a single mom.
He doesn’t have patience for kids.
And…Did I mention, he’s my new boss? A boss who has me thinking more impure thoughts than a teenage boy with their first dirty magazine, a boss who is totally out of my league, and a boss who I’m impossibly attracted to.
Sometimes a girl must give up the illusion that fairy tales exist and realize happily ever afters only happen in movies. I’m not a princess, and he’s not a prince.
But when an unconventional fairy godmother intervenes to work her magic, maybe just maybe, I’ll get to wear that crown after all.
He’s charming, funny, and incredibly hot. The only problem is, he’s a ghost.

Book: Uncovering Camila
Author: Vivian Winslow
Genre: Contemporary Romance
I get so excited when I see a email from Vivian Winslow informing me of a new book. I have been following her since her first novella released and get excited to read her newest releases. All her books are about very strong and independent women. Women who take no shit from men and can do it without a man. I love women like that. Camila was no different. She had her life in motion and didn’t need a man to fill up her time. She was okay with how things were. That is until Marshall shows up.
Thanks to Camila’s cousin she meets Marshall. Tall, dark and handsome, he is smart as a whip and is the perfect match for Camila. There are a lot of ups and downs, moving forward and moving backwards but in the end it all comes together. And let’s not forget the amazing hot sex these two have. OMG! They are on fire together. HOT!
I loved seeing the Baron girls and Poppy included. I can never get enough of them and it’s always exciting to see a glimpse of how things are turning out for them and their families. I can’t wait to see what comes next.
Camila turns her body to face Marshall. Lifting her hand, she runs a finger down the side of his face. He catches her hand and trails kisses around her palm. From there he runs his tongue up her index finger and sucks. He continues to suck on her fingers relentlessly, each one stirring her craving for sex even more than the last. She smiles to herself. This dare will be far easier than I thought. She sits astride Marshall on the bench, careful not to tear her dress. “You sure about this?” He asks.“Why do you ask?” Camila rubs his cock from outside his trousers. “You want to hear me say that I want to be with you?”“Yeah, I do,” he replies before crushing his lips against Camila’s. Like last time, this kiss blows her away with its intensity, as he alternates between tender caresses and biting her bottom lip. Unlike last time, there’s an undercurrent of desperation behind it because they both know the weekend will end and their City lives will resume, where neither one will be able to touch the other. Somehow that prospect of it ending before it even begins drives them further into the moment, passion superseding all reason and doubt.Camila doesn’t speak right away. She wants her kisses to speak her desire for her. For her tongue to find his and to stroke it the way he stroked her pussy that morning in her apartment. She brings her hands to his face, gripping him with the intensity of a lover who’s saying both hello and good-bye. It’s truly liberating to own this level of freedom with someone knowing that the present is all they have. She can feel his erection grow and press against her cunt, growing slicker with every kiss and lick against her lips. Camila draws his left hand under her dress so he can feel her desire.Marshall moans into the next kiss, taking her deeper as he buries two fingers inside of Camila. She cries out silently, only a jagged breath shattering the stillness around them. Time has literally ceased to exist in this moment between the two lovers as they continue to climb toward their mutual pleasure. Camila lowers the zipper of his pants, freeing his cock. Marshall hisses as she begins to stroke him. What he wouldn’t give to feel himself inside her warm mouth right now. He groans as he bites down on Camila’s lips, remembering how it felt when she took him deep inside her. He starts to penetrate Camila faster. He wants to fuck her this way and so many others right here on this bench. How perfect and poetic to have someone like Camila on the Baron estate where he’d lost his virginity to Dahlia, the eldest of the twin daughters, all those years ago in the pool house. To bring such light to a place that represents so many memories from his past fills him with such a sense of peace he doesn’t want it to end.Marshall takes out his fingers and licks them before putting them in Camila’s mouth. She sucks on them hard. The idea that these fingers were just inside her pussy drives her further into her lust. She lowers herself over his cock, prepared for how deep he would go and how far it would stretch her. This time her eyes are open, watching the look of pleasure on his face as she takes him fully. His moan is louder than it should be, but neither of them cares. She rides him slowly this time, with greater purpose than before. Each time, she wants to feel him deep inside her, and he wants to savor it too. Marshall pulls Camila tight to him, burying his groans into her mouth, his kisses conveying a warmth and gratitude for tonight, for that morning in her apartment, and for feeling so fucking good at this moment. He buries his face in her breasts as he continues to thrust into her. Her cries match his. Both are so close to coming, but neither of them is ready to. The reality after the fact will hit them both, and they want to push it away as long as they can. Marshall wraps his arms around her tighter, unable to edge any longer. “I’m going to come,” he whispers.Camila nods as she rides him harder, lifting herself off, and slamming down so she feels it in her G-spot. She draws a deep breath, finally reaching that deep abyss as Marshall stops thrusting and lets himself go.

“I wish I could stop this one moment, capture it, because I know it won’t last. Because a guy like him doesn’t stay in a woman’s life. He breezes through and leaves only havoc behind.”
There were so many things I really liked about Beautiful Distraction! I laughed quite a bit over the banter and situations Ava found herself in. JC Reed brought the heat with Kellan. He is strong, mysterious and not very forthcoming. As Ava and Kellan have one misadventure after another, you can feel the tension rising and it’s only a matter of time before the lid blows off. Mandy is everything a best friend should be. She’s a hot mess, pulling Ava out of her shell and into the world.
Beautiful Distraction was a fast paced, easy book to get into and enjoy. Although there were parts at the end that felt a bit rushed and tied up a bit too quickly, it didn’t take away from the overall feel and story. I look forward to the rest of the Boyd brothers and their adventures. I’m hoping that Mandy gets her story as well.

Out of all the places Mandy could have taken me,
she’s just managed to find the one place with the one guy

Judging from the way he acted, almost kicking me off
his property, he was pissed.
Like, really pissed.

Briella was six years-old when her mother passed away from cancer. Five years later, C-Vac, the cancer vaccine, was announced. For most, it was considered a miracle. Things are about to get rocky for Dean Wentworth and Willow Wade.
Willow Wade is used to living in the spotlight, with her father a famous drummer in the band Willow Creek—her namesake—it’s been a lot to live up to and oftentimes she doesn’t feel she’s enough. But there has always been one person she could turn to.
Dean Wentworth knows a thing or two about how crippling a name can be. His family is worth billions after all. But Dean’s always been content to do his own thing. Play his guitar. Work on cars. And geek out to his various “nerdoms”.
But when Willow turns up unexpectedly, he realizes maybe there is more in life he wants.
One trip will change their lives forever.
Those bitches were gonna die.
That was a horrible thing to say about my so-called ‘friends’—and I used the word friends loosely, because true friends wouldn’t ditch you the day of your scheduled road trip because they’d rather be sunbathing in the Hamptons.
The fucking Hamptons.
I mean, how clichéd could you get.
This was why I hated rich people.
It also sucked that I was one of those rich people.
Well, I wasn’t, but my dad was.
So by extension so was I.
When you grew up with a rock star for a dad, cameras and eyes followed you everywhere. It was exhausting.
I couldn’t just be Willow.
I was Willow Wade.
The daughter of the famous drummer Maddox Wade.
People expected greatness from me.
I just wanted to graduate college without slitting my wrists.
