I love two men. I screw two men. I am in a relationship with them both, and they are both aware there is another. That is all they need to know, that is all I let them know. They don’t need to know a name; they don’t need to know anything but that they are not alone in my heart.
They have accepted the situation. Stewart, because his life is too busy for the sort of obligations that are required in a relationship. Paul, because he loves me too much to tell me no. And because my sexual appetite is such that one man has trouble keeping up.
So we exist, two parallel relationships, each running their own course, with no need for intersection or conflict. It works for us, for them, and for me. I don’t expect it to be a long-term situation. I know there is an expiration date on the easy perfection of our lives.
I should have paid more attention, should have looked around and noticed the woman who watched it all. She sat in the background and waited, tried to figure me out. Saw my two relationships, the love between us, and the moment that it all fell apart.
She hates me.
I don’t even know she exists.
She loves them. I love them.
And they love me.
EVERYTHING else hangs in the balance.
WOW!! Not many books can make me say that. Not many books make me feel what this one did especially after the book was over. This book had me from the beginning. Then again how could it not. A girl dating two men at the same time AND they know about each other. That grabbed me from the get go because I had to see not only how that worked but how it ended.
Madison being a beautiful girl who loves sex not in a slutty way catches the heart of Stewart. Someone who Madison will not become exclusive with because he puts his job first. So he tells her to find a boyfriend and in comes Paul. So over the course of two years she falls in love with both of them.
Stewart is HOT. Alpha male with a great job and body. Lets not forget amazing in bed. His only down fall…. He’s married to his job. His job comes first and there is only time to see Madison once or twice a week. He loves her and understands she wont come second to his job and also understand her love for sex so he tells her to find a boyfriend for when he can’t be there. What a dip shit. (sorry)
So then there is Paul. He is a sweet surfer. Also hot in a boy next door type with a great body and also good in bed. He knows about Stewart but he loves Madison so he deals with it. The other relationship doesn’t get talked about between the two. But he knows there are nights she will go to Stewart.
Now let me tell you. I love Paul. I honestly do. But I am 100% a Stewart fan. I LOVE Stewart. I hoped he would do things differently through the whole book. Prayed he would change his ways. I wanted Stewart and Madison to end up together. Why? To be honest I have no clue. Just something about Stewart (no not his money) called to me. There was just something there that I can’t put my finger on. Paul is great but to me Stewart is better.
So needless to say I was a little disappointed about the ending. I was even hoping for an unfortunate death to happen to a certain someone so that another ending could happen. So sad it didn’t happen the way I wanted. So enough about how I wanted things to go. I think this book was great. I absolutely loved it. I did see someone refer to Fifty Shades of Grey and I have to say that this is no where near a FSoG book. I’m not sure what the person meant with the reference but I got nothing similar between them. This book to me was on a different scale compared to Fifty.
Now for those people who can’t read a book that has mistakes.. Full warning. This book has mistakes. Not enough to take away from the story but to me they were noticeable.
I will definitely be recommending this book. Ha I already have to a friend of mine before I even finished the book. That’s how good it is. A must buy.
